Your car's got more in it. We'll go get it.
More power, fatter torque, or better MPG — the factory left it locked away to keep every market happy. We unlock it with genuine dealer-level tools, back up your original file, and don't make you book a rolling road or lose your car for a day. Find your motor below.
More poke
Sharper throttle and a fatter mid-range exactly where you actually drive.
Or more MPG
An economy map means you work the engine less for the same journey — diesels love it.
Zero drama
Original file saved, emissions kit intact, road-legal, and reversible any time.
Find your motor
Our most-remapped models, with the typical peak gain on each. Don't see yours? We tune almost anything with an ECU — just ask.
Right, what actually is a remap?
Every modern engine is bossed about by its ECU — a little computer deciding exactly how much fuel, boost and ignition timing the engine gets. Manufacturers tune that map deliberately soft, so one calibration survives dodgy fuel, brutal heat and skipped services in every market on the planet. Translation: your car is holding back, and there's genuine, usable headroom just sitting there.
A remap rewrites that calibration to suit UK roads and fuel — bringing torque in earlier, sharpening throttle response and lifting peak power. On diesels the biggest gain is a fat slug of mid-range torque (great for overtaking, towing and loaded vans); on turbo petrols you get a genuinely quicker, more eager car. Want economy instead? An economy map chases efficiency rather than outright power.
We do it all at your home or workplace with the same genuine dealer-level tools a workshop uses, working off a stabilised power supply so the ECU never loses voltage mid-flash. Your original factory file is read and saved first, so the map is always fully reversible — and our maps keep your DPF, EGR and AdBlue systems intact so the car stays road-legal and MOT-ready.
Every remap comes with
We speak fluent ECU, too
Beyond remapping, we run genuine manufacturer-level diagnostic and coding tools — ODIS (VW/Audi/SEAT/Škoda), ISTA (BMW/MINI) and XENTRY (Mercedes) — for retrofits, module programming, adaptions and ECU cloning.
Diesel emissions & fault solutions
EGR, DPF, AdBlue, DTC and swirl-flap work at software level. For a road car we always fix the fault the legal way (clean, repair or forced regen) — removal is for genuine off-road, export and motorsport vehicles only.
Off-road, export & motorsport use only. Removing emissions equipment isn't legal on a UK road car and is an automatic MOT failure — it's the owner's responsibility to ensure lawful use.
Tuning extras & sound
Sound, feel and convenience tweaks. Start/stop disable is fully road-legal; pop & bang, hardcut, launch control and Vmax-off are set up for track, off-road and motorsport use.
The stuff everyone asks
What's the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2?
Stage 1 is a remap on an otherwise standard car — it optimises fuelling, boost and timing on your existing hardware and suits the vast majority of drivers. Stage 2 is for cars that already have supporting mods (like an uprated intake, exhaust or downpipe) and takes fuller advantage of that improved breathing. We'll only recommend Stage 2 if your car is actually set up for it.
Is remapping safe for my engine?
When it's done sensibly, yes. We tune within safe limits for your specific engine, back up your original file first, and prioritise reliable, everyday drivability over chasing risky headline numbers. If your car has an existing weakness — a tired clutch or dual-mass flywheel, say — we'll tell you straight before we touch it.
Will a remap improve my fuel economy?
It can, particularly on diesels. Because the extra torque arrives lower in the rev range, you tend to work the engine less to do the same job, which can improve MPG on steady and motorway driving. The honest catch: if you enjoy the extra performance with a heavier right foot, you'll spend the gains instead. We can write an economy-focused map if MPG is your priority.
Do I have to tell my insurer about a remap?
Yes, always. A remap is a declarable modification, and not disclosing it can invalidate your policy in the event of a claim. It's usually a quick, low-cost note on the policy. Because we back up your original file, the car can also be returned to completely standard whenever you need for insurance, warranty or resale.
Does a remap remove my DPF, EGR or AdBlue?
No. Our performance and economy maps keep the DPF, EGR and AdBlue/SCR systems fully intact and working — we optimise the standard setup rather than deleting emissions equipment. That keeps your vehicle MOT-legal and road-legal.
Is a mobile remap as good as a rolling road?
For a road-going Stage 1 or 2 remap, yes. We use the same genuine dealer-level tools a workshop uses and run everything off a stabilised power supply so the ECU always has clean, steady voltage during the flash. You just don't have to book a rolling road or lose a day dropping the car off — we come to you.
Can the remap be undone?
Completely. We read and save your original factory file before writing anything, so we can restore your car to full stock at any time — handy for warranty visits, lease returns or selling it on.
