Mobile ECU remapping

Vauxhall Corsa,
woken right up.

The Corsa has always been a cheeky little runabout that fancies itself faster than it is, and honestly, it's not entirely wrong. We turn up wherever you're parked with dealer-grade tools, give the CDTi, turbo petrol or VXR the encouragement it craves, and keep your original file safely backed up.

On your driveway ~1 hour, no faff Fully reversible Dealer-level tools

Typical Stage 1–2 gains — up to

+75

bhp

+65

Nm torque

Estimated peak gain across Corsa engines. Your car's figures depend on spec, year, fuel & condition — we quote honest numbers, never fantasy dyno bragging.

So, what's in it for your Corsa?

Your Corsa is more willing than Vauxhall lets on. The factory writes one engine map to cover every market, fuel quality and emissions test, which means it rolls off the line detuned with headroom left spare. Sensible for the showroom. Wasted on you. We go and claim it back.

On the 1.3 and 1.5 CDTi diesels that translates to a healthy lift in mid-range torque — the pull that makes town driving and motorway runs feel far less like hard work — often with a little MPG bonus for a gentle right foot. The 1.4 turbo petrol finds genuine extra pace and eagerness, and on the Corsa VXR a Stage 1 map liberates what's already there, with Stage 2 on the table once you've added the supporting hardware. Small car, proper attitude.

We come to you with genuine dealer-level tools and a stable power supply — no flashing an ECU on a battery that's about to give up. Your original file is backed up before anything happens, so it's fully reversible. DPF, EGR and AdBlue are left intact and road-legal. Gains shift with year, spec, fuel and condition, so you get an honest estimate for your Corsa rather than a fantasy number nicked off a forum.

The numbers (the fun part)

Standard vs remapped, per engine. Bars are scaled to peak bhp — the red is what you've been missing.

1.3 CDTi (diesel)

+25 bhp+65 Nm
Standard≈ 75–95 bhp / 190–215 Nm
Stage 1 (est.)≈ 110–120 bhp / ≈ 250–280 Nm

1.5 CDTi (diesel)

+33 bhp+60 Nm
Standard≈ 102 bhp / 260 Nm
Stage 1 (est.)≈ 125–135 bhp / ≈ 300–320 Nm

1.4 Turbo (petrol)

+20 bhp+45 Nm
Standard≈ 100–150 bhp / 200–245 Nm
Stage 1 (est.)≈ 150–170 bhp / ≈ 250–290 Nm

Corsa VXR (1.6 Turbo)

+75 bhp
Standard≈ 205 bhp / 245 Nm
Stage 2 (est.)≈ 260–280 bhp with hardware

Stage 1: ≈ 230–245 bhp / ≈ 300–330 Nm · Stage 2 shown (needs supporting hardware)

Typical estimates for a healthy vehicle. Stage 2 needs supporting hardware (intake/exhaust/intercooler) — we'll only suggest it if your car's up for it.

What's in the box

Full read & backup of your original file
Custom map loaded on a stabilised power supply
Genuine dealer-level tooling via the OBD port
Economy or performance flavour — your call
Emissions kit (DPF/EGR/AdBlue) left intact
Fully reversible — back to stock any time

The small print (yeah, yeah): always tell your insurer about a remap — it's a mod, and "forgetting" can sink a claim. If your Corsa is still under manufacturer warranty, a remap can affect powertrain cover, so weigh it up first. We keep your original file backed up either way.

Questions you're about to ask

Can you remap a Corsa VXR to Stage 2?

Yes — the VXR loves it. Stage 1 gives a healthy lift on the standard car, and Stage 2 unlocks more once you've got supporting hardware such as an upgraded intake, exhaust or intercooler. We'll tell you honestly what your particular car needs to do it properly and safely.

Is it worth remapping a CDTi diesel Corsa?

Definitely, if you want more everyday flexibility. The extra torque makes town driving easier and motorway cruising more relaxed, and many owners see a small improvement in MPG when they drive on the new torque rather than the throttle.

Will my Corsa stay road-legal, and can it be reversed?

Yes. Our maps keep the DPF, EGR and all emissions hardware fully intact and road-legal — we don't do emissions-delete maps on road cars. We always back up your original factory file first, so it can be put back to standard whenever you like. Do declare the remap to your insurer.
