Questions You're Probably Asking
We've heard them all. Here's the honest answers.
How much can I actually earn from Network jobs?
Depends how good you are and how much you work. Our top providers clear £8k+ per month. Average is around £3-5k. But we're not promising you'll be rich - that's on you.
What's the 15% commission for?
That's for jobs we send you through our network. We find the customer, they pay us upfront, we send you the job, you see your 85% cut. No chasing payments, no marketing costs, no customer acquisition headaches. We also handle all the customer service bollocks if they complain.
What about the Platform subscriptions?
Those are for running YOUR OWN business. Got your own customers and just need the tech to manage drivers, track jobs, send reminders? That's what the subscriptions are for. No commission - it's your business, your customers, your money.
Can I do both? Network jobs AND manage my own?
Absolutely. Join the network for the 15% commission jobs, and subscribe to manage your own customers too. Best of both worlds. Some providers do 50/50 - SOS jobs when it's quiet, their own customers when it's busy.
Does Platform include payment processing?
Not yet. You handle your own invoicing and payments - however you like. We're building Stripe Connect so you can take card payments through the app, but that's coming later. For now, invoice them yourself.
What about white-label branding?
Coming soon as a paid upgrade. Right now the driver app says 'Powered by SOS CarFix'. When white-label drops, you can have your own logo and colors. We'll charge for that because customization takes work.
What if a Network customer doesn't pay?
They pay us before you finish the job. Through the app. If they don't pay, you don't complete. No more 'the cheque's in the post' rubbish. That's literally why we exist.
Do I need special insurance?
You need public liability and whatever insurance covers your specific work. If you're already a mechanic, you probably have this. If not, we can point you in the right direction.
What areas do you cover?
Kent mainly, expanding to London and the South East. If you're elsewhere, register anyway - we're growing fast.
