Services We Don't Do
And some we might do if you ask nicely.
We're versatile, not omnipotent.
Absolutely, Categorically, No.
Don't even ask. Seriously. These are hard limits.
Electric Vehicles (High Voltage)
We like being alive
Tesla, Leaf, e-Golf, any of those silent death traps with 400+ volts running through them. We're mechanics, not electricians with a death wish. High voltage requires specialist training, equipment, and insurance that costs more than our vans. Go to a dealership. Pay the premium. Stay alive.
We've seen what 400 volts does to a spanner. No thanks.
Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles
The future isn't here yet (for us)
Toyota Mirai? Hyundai Nexo? Hydrogen-powered anything? Nope. We don't have the equipment, the training, or frankly the desire to work with highly flammable gas that burns invisibly. That's genuinely terrifying. The future can stay over there for now.
Hindenburg vibes. Hard pass.
Airplanes
We're mobile, but not THAT mobile
We fix things with four wheels that stay on the ground. If your vehicle needs to be airworthy, you need an aircraft mechanic with very different qualifications and very different insurance. We can barely parallel park, mate.
Our vans don't have wings. Neither do we.
Spaceships & Rockets
NASA hasn't called (yet)
If you've somehow stumbled onto our website while looking for spacecraft repair in Kent, we admire your optimism. But no. We can't fix your rocket. We're still working out how to get cruise control working on a 2008 Focus.
Elon, if you're reading this - call us. Actually, don't.
Supercars & Exotics (Maybe)
Depends on what's wrong
Lamborghini? Ferrari? McLaren? We CAN work on them - brakes are brakes, oil is oil. But for anything computer-related or engine-specific, those cars are so locked down you basically need to be Italian royalty to access the diagnostics. Your move.
We'll change your Lambo's brake pads. We won't touch the ECU.
Also No (Quick List)
Boats
We're mobile mechanics, not marine mechanics. Different kind of engine, different kind of problem, different kind of sinking.
Tractors & Farm Equipment
John Deere has made sure nobody can fix their stuff anyway. Even if we wanted to, which we don't.
Forklifts & Industrial Equipment
Needs specialist certifications. Your warehouse forklift is not our problem.
Golf Carts
They're basically electric vehicles for rich people. See our electric vehicle policy above.
Actually... Maybe?
Not officially our thing, but we're resourceful people.
Phone Screen Replacement
We're surprisingly good with fiddly things. If you're desperate and we're in your driveway anyway, we might be able to swap out a cracked iPhone screen. No promises on Face ID still working though.
Conditions: Must provide the replacement screen. We're not an Apple Store.
IKEA Furniture Assembly
We have tools. We can read (sometimes). We've assembled more flat-pack furniture than we'd like to admit. The MALM dresser holds no fear for us. The KALLAX is our nemesis but we'll try.
Conditions: Must have all the pieces. We can't manifest missing dowels.
Hanging Shelves & Cupboards
We own drills. We know what a stud finder is (it's a mirror, obviously). If you need a shelf put up or a cupboard hung, we'll probably do a better job than your brother-in-law who "knows what he's doing."
Conditions: No load-bearing walls. We're not structural engineers.
Assembling That Gym Equipment
That exercise bike that's been in the box for 6 months? The rowing machine you swore you'd use? We'll put it together. Whether you actually use it is between you and your conscience.
Conditions: We will silently judge your fitness goals. Consider yourself warned.
Random DIY Tasks
We're handy. We have tools. If you're in a bind and it's a mechanical or assembly type problem, just ask. Worst we can say is no. Or we might say yes and regret it. Life's an adventure.
Conditions: Must be legal. Must not involve heights. Must involve tea.
Drones?
This one's complicated.
Won't Do:
- • Flight controller repairs
- • Motor replacements
- • ESC programming
- • GPS module stuff
- • Anything that involves it flying
Might Do:
- • Broken propeller? We'll swap it
- • Loose screw? We got you
- • Need a new battery connected? Maybe
- • Camera gimbal tightening? Sure
- • General "it's not turning on"? We'll look
Basically: mechanical = maybe. Electronic = no. Flying = definitely not our fault.
Look, Here's the Thing
We're mobile mechanics. That's our job. Cars, vans, the occasional motorcycle - that's our wheelhouse. We're really good at it.
But we're also people with tools and skills. If you're in a bind and need something fixed, built, or assembled - and it doesn't involve high voltage, flight, or anything that could explode - just ask. We might surprise you.
Worst case: we say no and you're no worse off than before. Best case: your IKEA wardrobe gets assembled AND your car gets serviced in the same visit. Efficiency.
