Nissan Qashqai,
woken right up.
Britain's do-everything crossover hauls kids, dogs and the weekly shop without complaint, and it'd rather like a bit more shove doing it. We come to you with genuine equipment, wake up the dCi or DIG-T for proper everyday torque, and back up your factory file before we start.
Typical Stage 1 gains — up to
bhp
Nm torque
Estimated peak gain across Qashqai engines. Your car's figures depend on spec, year, fuel & condition — we quote honest numbers, never fantasy dyno bragging.
So, what's in it for your Qashqai?
Let's be straight — a remap won't turn your Qashqai into a hot hatch, and anyone promising that is having you on. What it will do is undo the factory hedging. Nissan writes one map to suit every market, fuel and emissions rule, so your car runs detuned with headroom deliberately left in the tank.
On the 1.5 and 1.6 dCi diesels that headroom becomes lovely everyday mid-range torque — the stuff that makes a full car, a boot of shopping and a motorway on-ramp feel a whole lot easier — often with a bit more MPG if you go easy. The 1.2 and 1.3 DIG-T petrols get a welcome dose of extra flexibility and pull, so it feels less strained doing family duties. Honest, usable gains for a proper family car — no fantasy, no rally badges.
We come to you with genuine dealer-level tools and a stable power supply, because flashing an ECU on a fading battery is how good cars go wrong. Your original file is backed up first, so everything's fully reversible. DPF, EGR and AdBlue stay intact and road-legal. What you'll actually gain depends on year, spec, fuel and condition, so we give you a realistic estimate for your Qashqai and skip the made-up numbers.
The numbers (the fun part)
Standard vs remapped, per engine. Bars are scaled to peak bhp — the red is what you've been missing.
1.5 dCi (110 bhp diesel)
1.6 dCi (130 bhp diesel)
1.2 DIG-T (petrol turbo)
1.3 DIG-T (petrol turbo)
Typical estimates for a healthy vehicle. Stage 2 needs supporting hardware (intake/exhaust/intercooler) — we'll only suggest it if your car's up for it.

What's in the box
The small print (yeah, yeah): always tell your insurer about a remap — it's a mod, and "forgetting" can sink a claim. If your Qashqai is still under manufacturer warranty, a remap can affect powertrain cover, so weigh it up first. We keep your original file backed up either way.
Questions you're about to ask
Is a remap worth it on a Qashqai?
If you want the car to feel stronger in everyday driving — pulling away, overtaking, towing or carrying a full load — then yes. The dCi diesels in particular gain a lot of usable mid-range torque that makes the car far less strained when it's working hard.
Will it improve my fuel economy?
It can, especially on the diesels. With more torque low down you use less throttle for the same progress, so a lot of owners see a small MPG gain on steady driving. It depends on how you drive, plus year, spec and condition — we won't over-promise.
Does the remap keep the DPF, and can it be reversed?
Yes. Our maps are performance and economy focused and leave the DPF, EGR and all emissions hardware in place and road-legal. We back up your original file before any changes, so it can be reverted at any time — and please declare the remap to your insurer.
