Audi A3,
woken right up.

The A3 is the VAG tuning world's favourite child, and Ingolstadt knows it left plenty on the table. We come to you with dealer-grade kit, wake up what your TDI or TFSI has been quietly hiding, and keep your original file safely backed up in case you ever fancy factory-standard again.

Estimated peak gain across A3 engines. Your car's figures depend on spec, year, fuel & condition — we quote honest numbers, never fantasy dyno bragging.

So, what's in it for your A3?

The A3 is a VAG tuning darling for a reason — the engines are properly good before you've touched them, and Audi still ships them detuned. One map for every market, every grade of fuel, every owner who skips a service, means there's real performance sitting behind that factory caution. We're rather fond of setting it free.

On the 1.5 and 2.0 TFSI petrols and the S3's 2.0 TFSI, that's honest power and pace — crisper response, a stronger shove through the mid-range, the sort of thing that reminds you why you bought the quick one. On the 2.0 TDI diesel it's fat mid-range torque that pulls cleanly from low revs, plus a likely nudge in MPG if you keep your foot out of it on the motorway. Different flavours, same principle: more of the car Audi already built.

We come to you with genuine dealer-level tools running off a stable power supply, so the flash is clean every time. Your original file is backed up first, so it's completely reversible if you ever want factory back. DPF, EGR and AdBlue are left intact and fully road-legal. Gains vary with year, spec, fuel and condition, so we'll give you a realistic estimate for your A3 rather than a made-up dyno graph off the internet.

The small print (yeah, yeah): always tell your insurer about a remap — it's a mod, and "forgetting" can sink a claim. If your A3 is still under manufacturer warranty, a remap can affect powertrain cover, so weigh it up first. We keep your original file backed up either way.

Questions you're about to ask

How much power will my Audi A3 gain from a remap?

It depends on the engine. The 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TFSI both make excellent gains on standard hardware, while the S3 can pick up a very healthy jump at Stage 1. The figures we quote are realistic estimates for typical UK cars on good fuel, and we'll always give you honest numbers for your exact spec.

Do the TFSI petrol engines really respond as well as people say?

They do. The turbocharged EA888 in the 2.0 TFSI and S3 is one of the most tuning-friendly engines around, so even a Stage 1 map delivers a noticeable lift in power and mid-range punch. The 1.5 TFSI gains are more modest but still sharpen the car up nicely.

Will a remap affect my warranty or insurance?

You should always declare a remap to your insurer, as it's a modification like any other. If your A3 is under manufacturer warranty, be aware a remap can affect powertrain cover, so it's worth considering timing. We back up the original file, so the map can be removed at any point if needed.
