What's This All About Then?
Tyres. The only thing between your car and the road. Quite important really. Whether you've got a flat, your tyres are balder than your uncle, or you just want an upgrade - we come to you. Home, work, side of the road (careful with that one) - wherever your car is, we'll bring the tyres. We fit them properly, balance them correctly, and dispose of your old rubber. None of that 'we'll do it but it'll be £50 extra for balancing' nonsense. It's all included. Because that's how it should work.

How it works
You give us the tyre size (it's printed on the sidewall, e.g. 205/55 R16), your car and location. We arrange for a mobile tyre partner to bring the right tyres, jack, torque wrench and a proper balancing machine to your home, workplace or roadside. They remove the old tyre, fit and inflate the new one to your car's recommended pressure, balance the wheel so it doesn't shake at speed, and torque the nuts correctly. A puncture may be repairable if it's a small hole in the central tread and the tyre isn't run-flat-damaged — if it's in the sidewall or shoulder, it's a replacement, no shortcuts. We're honest that tyres are networked to partners, so you're getting a fitter with the proper gear rather than us improvising.
Warning signs to watch for
- •Tread is at or near the legal limit and the car feels vague in the wet
- •A puncture, slow deflation, or a nail you can see in the tread
- •Steering wheel or seat vibrates at motorway speed — likely wheel balance
- •Uneven wear — one edge bald, the other fine — often alignment or pressure
- •Bulge, split or cracking in the sidewall (never safe to keep driving on)
- •You've got a flat and only a spacesaver, or no spare at all
Common causes
What we do
We arrange a mobile tyre partner to come to you with the right tyres and proper fitting kit. We're upfront that tyre supply and fitting is networked, not our core in-house service — but you get one point of contact and a fitter who balances and torques things correctly. We'll tell you honestly when a puncture is repairable versus when it genuinely needs replacing, rather than upselling you a tyre you don't need.
Mobile Tyre Fitting — FAQs
Can my puncture be repaired instead of replaced?
Sometimes. If it's a small hole in the central three-quarters of the tread, the tyre isn't run-flat-damaged, and there's no sidewall involvement, a proper plug-and-patch repair to the British Standard is safe. Punctures in the sidewall or shoulder, or a tyre driven flat, can't be repaired safely — we'll tell you straight which one you've got.
How do I know what tyre size to order?
It's moulded into the sidewall as something like 205/55 R16 91V. Send us that full code plus your car's make, model and year and we'll match it. Your car may also specify a load and speed rating — we'll make sure the replacement meets it rather than fitting something that undersells your vehicle's capability.
Do you fit the tyres yourselves?
No — and we won't pretend otherwise. Mobile tyre supply and fitting is arranged through our trusted tyre partners who carry the proper balancing and torque equipment. You book through us and deal with us, but the fitter on your driveway is a vetted specialist. That's better for you than us doing a service we don't specialise in.
