How it works
Legally, the MOT test itself must be carried out at a DVSA-approved test centre — we can't and don't issue certificates. What we do is a thorough pre-MOT inspection at your home or work, mirroring the tester's checklist, then repair anything that would fail. We work through the categories that DVSA data shows cause most failures: lighting and signalling (the single biggest, around a quarter of all fails), suspension, brakes, tyres and visibility items like wipers and washers. We check number plate condition, mirrors, horn, seatbelts, exhaust and fluid leaks. You get a clear list of what's a fail, what's an advisory and what we'd leave alone.
